The '''National Managers' Community (NMC)''', established in 2000 from a fusion of regional manager communities across the federal government, has a presence throughout the country. The NMC is an interdepartmental network committed to supporting Government of Canada public service managers and ensuring that their insights shape the present and the future of their work. The NMC aims to deliver on its mandate through objectives such as national engagement, business sustainability, two-way communication, and manager growth.

The NMC’s strategic objectives are to be reviewed every three years by ADM Advisory Board members with input from Managers’ Advisory Board members and approved by the DM champion.
