In this role, Susan was able to quickly learn about all the different programs at PSPC in order to delivery services. Having spent most of her career in corporate services, Susan took a leap into programs, and became the manager of Client relationships for the pension administration program in RGPB. In this role Susan became a council member of PSPC Managers Community Network, representing the Branch. Having been part of managers communities in the Ontario Region, Susan showed passion for helping managers during her 4 years at PSPC. This got noticed, and in spring of 2022 Susan was asked to take on the role of the Director of PSPC’s Managers’ Community Network.

|Alyssa Herage has worked for the Government of Canada for 21 years in various policy, corporate and program roles, mainly at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. She joined the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) in 2019 as the Director/Executive Director of Travellers Policy and Program Development. In that role, Alyssa was responsible for the Preclearance program, Trusted Traveller programs, and other traveller facilitation initiatives in the air, land, rail and marine modes. She was also the Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador for Travellers Branch. In 2022, Alyssa was named as the Chief of Staff to the President of the CBSA. |Brooke Kassen commenced his career in 1999 at Drumheller Institution.  He has occupied positions at Red Deer Parole, Saskatchewan Penitentiary, Edmonton Parole, Edmonton Institution, Kent Institution, Mission Institution, Fraser Valley Institution, Pacific Institution, Pacific Region Community District Office and Regional Headquarters.  Over his 25-year career with the Correctional Service of Canada, Mr. Kassen has served in a variety of roles and at all security levels.  Positions held include: Parole Officer, Unit Manager, Assistant Warden Correctional Programs, Assistant Warden Operations, Deputy Warden and Warden, A/District Director, A/Assistant Deputy Commissioner Integrated Services and Assistant Deputy Commissioner Correctional Operations.


Mr. Kassen was appointed Assistant Deputy Commissioner Correctional Operations in July 2022, following numerous Executive positions in the Pacific Region.  Mr. Kassen has undertaken a number of large leadership initiatives in his career, which include opening of 3 offender living units, clustering of 2 Institutions, and a population management report used for both a Regional and National analysis.
