However, it refers to one of the first SVS versions and contains outdated information in terms of many equations is uses now. SVS 2.0 is under active development, though is available for collaboration to our partners. Enhancements include a multi-layer snow-scheme and the representation of thermal diffusion along the soil column to represent freeze/thaw processes.
