The Directive on Proactive Publication under the Access to Information Act serves to establish consistent practices across government bodies subject to Part 2. While the requirements are listed in the Act, the Directive helps provide additional details regarding the operational requirements pursuant to Part 2 and prescribes the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's Open Government Portal as the online platform for hosting proactive publication materials.
