Effective March 1, 2019 leave cash-out requests will no longer be automatically processed by Phoenix when they are submitted via MyGCHR. Compensation Advisors will process the request based on receipt of a complete, authorized leave form and, if the organization is serviced by the Pay Centre, a Pay Action Request (PAR) validated by a Trusted Source.

Technical changes to MyGCHR to stop employees from submitting leave cash-out requests through the MyGCHR Self Service functionality will be implemented May 10, 2019. To support the change in process until the system changes are applied, the MyGCHR Service Desk will monitor leave requests to identify cash-outs requests entered by employees through Self Service. If such a request is identified, the Service Desk will contact the MyGCHR Help Desk within your organization to inform them of the request. The help desk in your organization will be responsible for following-up with the employee and manager to ensure the new manual process is applied.
