|Alyssa Herage has worked for the Government of Canada for 21 years in various policy, corporate and program roles, mainly at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. She joined the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) in 2019 as the Director/Executive Director of Travellers Policy and Program Development. In that role, Alyssa was responsible for the Preclearance program, Trusted Traveller programs, and other traveller facilitation initiatives in the air, land, rail and marine modes. She was also the Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador for Travellers Branch. In 2022, Alyssa was named as the Chief of Staff to the President of the CBSA.
