How We Support You?

The National Change Management (CM) team from the Chief Financial Officer Branch (CFOB) has the mandate to assist you in transitioning to en ESDC Workplace.

The CM team has two roles regarding ESDC Workplace.

  1. On a department-wide level: Employees are supported through access to engagement activities and a 3-D interactive platform ESDC Workplace & You.
  2. On a project level: Change Ambassadors1 (CA) and Change Agent Networks2 (CAN) have been designated to ease the transition to ESDC Workplace through tools and support.



SUPPORT

The CA and CAN will be using provided tools and resources in order to:

  • Communicate the reasons for the change.
  • Provide training and coaching to equip you to transition to the new workplace.
  • Five opportunities to provide feedback, listen to concerns, and to ease the transition.
  • Offer ongoing support for continuous success through ADKAR (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement).



TOOLS

The CM ensures that your change is successful by:

  • Measuring the effectiveness of communications, engagement, training, and resistance management.
  • Analysing your feedback and documenting the lessons learned.
  • Supporting you in applying your new knowledge.
  • Celebrating your achievements.

1.Change Ambassador: Responsible of Change Management for ESDC Workplace projects, the CA focuses on the people side of change and works to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that affect employees.

2.A group of individuals who are selected, or who volunteered to be part of a team whose main function is to guide impacted individuals to change adoption of a new ESDC Workplace initiative. The Change Agent Network fosters engagement and communication by gaining feedback from the employees, reporting issues quickly and effectively, cascading information and supporting change management activities.
