The pages is hosted within GCPedia, which is made with the open source software [[MediaWiki]].  Where possible we are leveraging the best practices defined within the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Accessibility MediaWiki] community. MediaWiki also drives the world's biggest wiki, [https://www.wikipedia.org/ Wikipedia], so users familiar with Wikipedia can use many of the same techniques to access information. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/view/171/ Known MediaWiki accessibility] are available in an open issue queue. To address these or other issues should be submitted under the "Submit a ticket" bab in the [[Help_Aide GC Tools]]. Content is continually being added ensure that everyone is kept up-to-date. The initial site was built by OpenConcept Consulting Inc. & tested by a range of members of the Accessibility Working Group. It has been tested with JAWS (version x.x) & ZoomText (version y.y). The text of this document is written for a Grade 6 reading level and verified through the [http://www.hemingwayapp.com/ HemingwayApp].
