TBS

• DTO Newsletter went out today.
• Web Managers email will go out early next week. It covers:
  • Announcements related to COVID
  • Metadata requirements
  • Parent/child resources
  • Working group and ongoing usability testing
  • Contact information to join this group

• 2 blog posts went out earlier this week:
  • Avoiding FAQs, with one exception
  • A case for descriptive link text
  • Tweets went out on @digitalCDN

Health Canada - Susan Harper

• Many products went live yesterday
  • List of Medical Devices shortages
  • Masks
  • Respirator recalls
• A lot of moving pieces
• Looking at landing page and applying feedback based on testing
• Met with TBS about phased approach
• Adding kids activities to PHAC page

PSPC - Abigail Hambly

• Asked to create a web presence about buyers and sellers on PPE
• Meeting and iteration
• It will go live next week
• Reducing duplication of content

 2. Parents/child resources - Mary Beth Baker (PCO)

• Official tasking: Identify and tag key 10 kid activities containing web pages
  • Tagging instructions
• PPT is coming soon
• Due date: June 7th

3. Accessibility - Patrick Lajeunesse (DTO)

Presentation: Usability tests with assistive technology users

• Tested 6 participants using assistive technology
• 3 people JAWS, 2 use NVDA
• 3rd party pool
• Not focused on task success, focus on looking for problems
