• As of last Friday, can now start registering subdomains again

2. Gerry top task study - Lisa Fast (DTO)

• Presented the results of the Gerry McGovern top task study done for Canadians
• Randomized for each participant to avoid a sorting bias
• Got lots of GC employee data after we closed the study, so still have to analyze the data

Let Lisa know if you are seeking audience specific top task report (slide 8).  She will make a small deck for top task by audience.

• Canada.ca/coronavirus is oriented to meet users needs and the tasks they are looking for

• Share results with GC teams, and compare with other data
• Identify content for top tasks
  • Determine content in policy and planning stages within GC/HC
  • Prioritize & deprioritize top tasks and ‘tiny tasks’
  • Create new content and resource categories
  • Rationalize with existing structure and analytics
  • Develop and launch content
  • Keep testing and improving
• Gerry would like to run this study again in a few months and see the changing needs
• Talk about the internal language of “recovery” getting confused with “reopening “ // business vs individual
• Will do more testing and share results around what groupings/language/terminology resonates.

• Still working on Page success widget to see how to compile data and make it easier to action
• Reached out to public opinion research group about making analysis more efficient

• Published a new page on how COVID-19 supports can help Indigenous individuals

• Validation testing this week

• Continuously updating women’s shelter funding
• Affected by GBV page and looking to add filter to this list

Instructions for tagging announcements are now live. They will be updated and improved, but the basics are now available.

CDS

• Full comms launch on Friday and PM announcement for finder tool
• Examining policy gaps
• Testing with people with disabilities on the finder tool
• More recruitment for panel of research

Canadian Heritage - Mark Alexander

• Working on putting together a portal to apply for funds

• Put up some alerts
• Rubina asked to put a floating invite on their pages for  recruitment
