02-07-2020 The Canada School of Public Service (CSPS) Digital Academy is offering a virtual  learning program, "Getting Started with Cloud Computing" to equip public servants across Canada with the confidence and expertise required to use cloud services to meet the needs of citizens.

You will learn the cloud value proposition as well as use cases and various services available through AWS cloud. The pilot program includes 12 hours of learning (3hrs of learning per day for 4 days).

Going forward, as we improve on our processes and as a project management best practice in alinement with the Policy on the Planning and Management of Investments (https://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/pol/doc-eng.aspx?id=32593), we will require departments to fill out a business case to help provide context for the investment decision, to define viable options and recommended decisions which would describe benefits, cost, risks, timeframe, change requirements, impact on stakeholder etc. Please contact us if you wish to see an example of this template filled out.
