|1=
Almost any area of practice within the public service that requires the sharing, use and collaborative development of documents can be supported by GCpedia. To date, it has been used to record meeting minutes, organize car pools, raise funds for United Way with a silent auction, establish terms of reference for interdepartmental committees, and support communities of practice in areas like Aboriginal affairs, information management, and learning.

|1=
To facilitate an easier migration from the old to the new, a dedicated team has been put in place to inform stakeholders, to provide learning opportunities and resources, and to establish and support a regional network of PSPC Project Navigator and Project Management Curriculum change agents. The intent is to ensure a continual flow of information and updates, and to provide opportunities to hear stakeholder’s thoughts and concerns.
But there are other areas of opportunity being demonstrated by GCpedia users every day. Be bold and creative and put GCpedia to good use.
|bg=#ececec|padding=10px

|1=
Like most wikis, GCpedia does not support 'private' spaces. As such it is meant for sharing unprotected information in an ongoing fashion. GCpedia is meant to be a steadily developing information resource accessible by everyone on the Government of Canada network. Through GCpedia, departments are empowered to share information that they believe other agencies across the Government of Canada would benefit from receiving, and get feedback in return--including serendipitous input from unexpected quarters of the federal government.
|bg=#ececec|padding=10px

|1=
"Due to the TBS requirements, this initiative has had an accelerated schedule. To help ease implementation, the components are being launched sequentially, and a PSPC Project Navigator proof of concept exercise comprising of three to five projects per region will occur to identify and address issues that may arise. To be clear, this exercise will not test a fully functioning PSPC Project Navigator product, but rather will be a period during which documentation components and the gating model are reviewed and improved. Subsequent results will then be submitted to the appropriate governing bodies for their approvals.

In addition, it is important to understand that building employee knowledge about, and ability with, the PSPC Project Navigator and Project Management Curriculum will continue well after the launch dates. Change agents and tools are being put in place to support those managing projects, including feedback mechanisms that will enable users to report on experiences and highlight areas that may need improvement."
