PDP3 is the largest of four buildings that constitute Place du Portage. It currently serves as Public Services and Procurement Canada’s (PSPC) headquarters. The complex was built in the 1970s and consists of: <br>

The PDP3 AWR project consists in a complete overhaul of both the inside and outside of the building. This includes base building systems such as windows, the building exterior (also known as the building envelope), plumbing, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, and more. As part of the planned midlife renewal work, we are doing much-needed renovations and are replacing systems that have reached the end of their useful life.<br>

The renewed PDP3 building is being designed to meet the modern workplace standard for the GoC known as [https://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/biens-property/mt-wp/mt-wp-eng.html GCworkplace] which offers greater flexibility in where and how people work and suits the needs of a hybrid, post-pandemic workforce.
This project will demonstrate the Government of Canada (GoC)'s commitment to greening and environmental sustainability, incorporating elements such as a high-efficiency building envelope, increased insulation, high efficiency heating, cooling and ventilation systems, and much more. <br>
