The Canada School of Public Service is actively moving towards secure, cloud-based systems that will provide improvements in system availability, functionality and usability for all learners.

The School is pleased to announce the top three vendors of its Next Generation Digital Learning Environment request for proposals: D2L Brightspace, Saba Cloud and SAP SuccessFactors.

Digital user-centred pivot: A new milestone for the School

Following an agile procurement process run in close partnership with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), the School has selected Brightspace by D2L as its new learning platform.

The selection process included the input of federal public servants : more than 200 people from 35 federal departments and agencies tested shortlisted prototypes from vendors to help select the most bilingual, most accessible, most usable and most feature rich platform. A huge thank you goes out to all those who contributed to testing the prototype solutions.

This new learning platform will:
