  • Finishing up Travel pieces related to newest Orders in Council
  • Working with CBSA and IRCC on ArriveCAN
  • Figuring out projects for Continuous Improvement model

PCO

  • No updates

PP

  • Readouts - NewsTeam was activated last week in AEM. Readouts are written communications that summarize the content of a meeting, event, etc. involving government officials. They are included in the approved Canada.ca content types.

HC

  • Officially surpassed 5 million downloads of COVID Alert app
  • One time payment to persons with disabilities is now in the top 10
  • Calls have decreased by 13%
  • Top of mind is getting travel wizard out the door
  • Doing performance measurement on Travel wizard (when it goes live), ArriveCAN
  • Working on Canada’s response page, adding in content about provinces and territories
  • Interdepartmental working group on digital communications for Vaccines last week
    • Shout out to ISC for their updated COVID pages
2. Continuous improvement - October data
  • October 21st we talked as a group about the continuous improvement model
  • Shared the top tasks, based on self-reported feedback from users
  • We will be sharing these results every month
3. SiteImprove - Marc Régimbal (Principal Publisher)

Principal Publisher

    • Looking at this type of functionality to help support optimization of web content
    • Could help catch accessibility and readability issues before content is live

ISED

  • Black Entrepreneurship Program landing page went live last week
  • No dates yet for other projects

Jobs and Benefits

  • COVID-19 benefits
  • New focuses: status tag - looking to add these to the funding page
  • The labels already exist in WET, the guidance just hasn’t been updated yet

  • Nothing new this week

GAC

  • Anticipating travel wizard launch November 16th

Public Safety

  • Nothing new on the COVID front this week
