2. Travel deck - Samira/Laura

  • Deck was presented last week to Border Communications Working Group, will also be presented to Interdepartmental Task Force and HC Branch Executive Committee
  • Briefing for anyone involved in COVID travel comms
  • Presenting to this group as some overarching messages apply to all departments - reinforce web content in comms planning, coordination with media releases

Bring forward agenda item: Discussion around news releases and web content. Newsroom content is often prioritized in the search because Google gives priority to verified news sources. Issue is that people find news releases before web content that has been designed for task success.

3. Beta responsive tables - David Pepin (DTO)

We worked on this during our Recalls optimization project with Health Canada. It really helps with navigation and enhancing the experience on mobile.

With many more people using mobile, we would like to see this eventually become the standard table.

It is finally available as a provisional code in GCWeb. Should be published either tomorrow or Friday. Then you can use it.

Please let DTO know if you experience any issues.
