HC PHAC

Travel

• Recent updates include:
  • alert for the India travel bans
  • day 8 Travel updates
  • hotel stopover
  • updating Canada.ca/covid-hotel-stay vanity url to point to new Plan and book page that went live (replaces the old About page content)

Vaccines

• Working with DTO to add vaccine safety band to topic page
• Work within the department on internal updates
• Multilingual toolkit is in coding
• Work on creating an internal vaccine working group modelled after travel working group

Overall

• 300,000 visits a day for the past week.
• Top page is vaccine landing page followed by hotel stopover page
• Major traffic driver to our pages is Google at 50%

PCO

• Priorities of week: Travel and vaccines

Finance

• Budget was released last week - biggest budget in Canadian history
• Waiting for the Budget Implementation Act (BIA) to go forward
• ERP: meeting with Minister’s Office regarding branding and the words “response” and “recovery” since Budget used the word ‘recovery’ a lot
• Will reach out to PCO after

Corrections

• Tomorrow will launch vaccines table with how many inmates have been vaccinated, broken down by institution
