The First Nations Managers’ Joint Gathering (formally known as the Open House) will be held June 11-12, 2019.

This event is organized by the Regional Office of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada/Indigenous Services Canada.

The main target Audience: Executive Directors and Senior Managers – Yukon and Northern British Columbia First Nations

On behalf of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada, Yukon Region we are pleased to host the First Nations Managers’ Joint Gathering (formally known at the Open House) on June 11-12, 2019. The event will take place over two days at the Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre located on Sumanik Drive.

This is an opportunity to hear presentations from federal departments on programs and services, and to share information with other First Nations on positive projects that have been undertaken in your own communities.  We are in the process of developing the agenda for this event, and are looking for your input.  Types of topics that have been covered at previous events include human resources, finance, community planning, governance capacity etc.

Space is available for two-four representatives from each First Nation/organization.  There will be refreshments throughout, and lunch will be provided on the first day.

Please send in any proposed agenda items you might have by May 17th and if possible provide the names of participants from your First Nation/organization.

Feel free to contact Stephanie Brown with any questions or suggestions you may have.  Stephanie can be reached at [[1]] or 867-667-3803.

We look forward to seeing you at the First Nations Managers’ Joint Gathering!
