There are numerous teams, working groups, communities of practice and influential individuals who play a large role in engaging public servants within ESDC. The aim of this site is to ensure that the events put on by these groups reach a maximum number of our colleagues so that resources are not wasted. Below is a distribution list of groups and individuals interested in engaging public servants in ESDC. The list can be used by organizers of activities to promote local or national seminars, WebExes and other events through a particular network(s). This should aid in breaking down silos, increasing collaboration and spreading best practices within the department.

This network can be used to increase collaboration amongst branches, regions and workplaces within ESDC. It allows employees and teams to maximize resources, build bridges and spread best practices by sharing event details with each other.
   −
If you come across a network or community of practice in ESDC that is not on the below list, please fell free to add it. If you require any assistance please email [[Mailto:muhammedali.khan@servicecanada.gc.ca]]
+
Increasing the diversity of learning opportunities will lead to a department that is more agile, equipped and inclusive along with more connected. If your event is online and appeals to a large group of public servants please share it with the below groups. Please continue adding the contact details of groups interested in employee engagement particularly at the local office level.

=== Informal Learning Network'''[edit | edit source]''' ===
+
== ESDC Informal Learning Network ==
There are numerous public servants who have a career’s worth of knowledge, dedication and experience. This represents a tremendous amount of skills and abilities that can be tapped into through the Informal Learning Network.
+
Looking for guest speakers for your next event? In search of a mentor? The ESDC Informal Learning Network is a list of ESDC employees along with their areas of expertise and contact details. They can be contacted by any network in our department for their next event. If you are interested in sharing your expertise please grow the network by adding your own contact details below:

  −
This is a centralized page where employees of any department and level can register to act as collaborators, mentors and/ or guest speakers. Employees are encouraged to indicate their name, current title, location and whether or not they have access to a Web Ex account. They may then add their areas of proficiency and personal email addresses.
  −

  −
Employees, leaders, communities of practice and members of working groups or teams can then use this database to contact interested public servants for mentorship opportunities, collaboration on projects or for WebExes or teleconferences to further enlighten themselves or their colleagues. This should aid in breaking down silos, building networks, increasing collaboration and spreading best practices within the public service.
  −

  −
Below is a list of employees who are willing to engage with their colleagues across Canada. Please feel free to edit the table below and add your information!

=== Réseau de l'apprentissage Informel'''[edit | edit source]''' ===
  −
