What is Discover Data?

Discover Digital is a 1-day course for all public servants to learn about the basics of "digital". It's important to note that Discover Digital is about collaborating, empowering, designing with and for people, not technology.
The course will:

  • Build awareness of global/societal digital culture transformation
  • Include possibilities and implications/opportunities in the Canadian government context
  • Increase confidence and capacity of government employees who are navigating the impacts of digital on their world
  • Learn more through curated and personalized learning opportunities (i.e. additional resources to deepen their learning)

The course is designed for the un-initiated but curious, and for public servants at all levels. Particularly, our audience includes working level and middle management employees who seek to:

  • Understand their potential roles and contributions in maturing a digital culture in their work environment
  • Learn how to be better equipped to support their teams though transformation of tools, processes and services.
