This reflection tool offers a series of exploratory questions designed to help federal institutions establish links between their mandate and the Government of Canada’s commitments set out in section 41 of the Official Languages Act (OLA). Without prescribing solutions, it supports the analysis that each institution must conduct to ensure the implementation of these commitments through positive measures. It helps identify courses of action as part of the analysis of the potential for taking positive measures. Published June 2026.
