We invite you to contribute to this event in your own way:

*Have you developed an innovative initiative that could be showcased?

*Did you produce a video on the theme of official languages that could be featured?

*Would you like to reserve a virtual kiosk to present your best practices that could be useful to other organizations?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, please fill out [[Media: 2021Forum-Form.docx | this form]] and email it to {{em|OLCEInformationCELO@tbs-sct.gc.ca}} before January 11, 2021. Your material could be selected and showcased during the Forum. Of course, you are welcome to take full advantage of this learning activity without presenting an initiative or reserving a kiosk.

Data: Potential demand for federal communications and services in the minority official language

The updated TBS webpage with the data on the potential demand for communications and services in the minority official language has now been published. The data found within the webpage is collected and calculated by Statistics Canada using information gathered during the most recent 2021 decennial census and is used to estimate the significant potential demand for the application of the Official Languages (Communications with and Services to the Public) Regulations in order to determine where federal offices should communicate with the public and offer them services in English, French or both official languages.
