Thanks to a partnership with the Canada School of Public Service, all federal employees are invited to attend two discussions.

Official Languages: An Evolving Context


Canadian Heritage has invited public executives to discuss recent changes in the evolving official languages environment. Speakers will share their thoughts on this context and address a range of official languages issues, such as diversity and inclusion in the Canadian public service, the Clerk of the Privy Council's call to action on racism, and the role that young public servants will play in official languages.

Language training in the federal public service

As part of the Forum, the Treasury Board Secretariat, in collaboration with the Canada School of Public Service, is organizing a discussion on the topic of language training.

If you are interested in improving, maintaining or acquiring new skills in your second language, this event is not to be missed. Whether you are in the National Capital Region or in the regions, our panelists will introduce you to different language learning mechanisms and approaches that have been implemented in institutions and regions across Canada.

Come and participate in this enriching discussion with our expert panelists who will share with you their tips, lessons learned and even anecdotes about learning and practicing a second language in the workplace.
