On February 18 and 19, 2021, the Canada School of Public Service and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada co-hosted the fifth annual Government of Canada Data Conference. The theme of this year's conference was "An Integrated Data Community to Build Back Better" -- keeping with the Government of Canada's priority for recovery and its commitment to bring about positive systemic change through quality data in collaboration with key stakeholders from civil society, academia and different levels of government.

Participants were able to collaborate virtually on content ranging from innovation to data literacy, governance and learning. The Data 2021 Conference helped build the capacity and skills of data users and data specialists to effectively perform their data management, analysis and processing functions.
