GCTools/GCcollab vs GCconnex
GCcollab and GCconnex: What's the difference?
GCcollab
Gccollab is cloud based collaboration platform for working with others, online, in real-time. GCcollab lets you invite and work with partners inside and outside of the Federal Government.
GCconnex
GCconnex is an internal Federal Government collaboration platform, and is only accessible to federal public servants. GCconnex is now in maintenance mode and is not being furthered developed or enhanced. It is strongly recommended to instead use GCcollab as a collaboration tool to ease the eventual transition to the future Open and Accessible Digital Workspace collaboration tool.
Product Comparison
If you're looking to use one of our tools, we recommend registering for GCcollab. GCcollab allows you to work with people outside of government, and also gives you access to a suite of other tools using the same account and login information. One account gives you access to GCcollab, GCmessage, and GCwiki. However, GCconnex only gives you access to GCconnex and GCpedia, both of which are only available to Federal Public Servants, and are no longer being upgraded or updated.
