Representation in the public service of Canada by designated group and fiscal year with workforce availability estimates | Representation data for Indigenous Peoples, persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities is based on voluntary self-identification. Public servants can choose whether or not to self-identify; it is not mandatory. This means that the data may not provide an accurate reflection of the total number of public servants in each employment equity group.
|
Representation of employment equity groups and subgroups by federal department or agency | This dashboard provides departments with information on designated employment equity groups (and subgroups) for hiring activities, the population and applicants to staffing processes for applicants to staffing processes, hires, employees, promotions and acting appointments. It also provides workforce availability information from the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. This information will give deputy heads, hiring managers and staffing advisors a broader understanding of staffing within their departments or agencies and the public service as a whole.
