By carefully planning events and by including esteemed guest speakers, we can successfully capture the attention of employees, leading to increased attendance rates and heightened interest in the campaign.

Special activities thoughtfully designed to incentivize employee participation play a pivotal role in every event plan, ensuring engagement and enthusiasm throughout the event.

ISED has proudly hosted a series of virtual and in-person campaign events, featuring distinguished guest speakers such as renowned astronauts Jeremy Hansen and Joshua Kutryk, and Nobel Prize winner Donna Theo Strickland. These exceptional individuals shared their inspiring career successes and their profound connection to the campaign’s cause.

Our carefully curated in-person events have offered a variety of engaging activities, including e-pledge station set-ups and support, sector information booths, captivating “Why I Give” videos and more, all tailored to align with the campaign’s specific objectives, themes and requirements.

When events are dynamic and thoughtfully planned, we see a remarkable surge in employee interest and participation, as our community unites with a shared vision to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need.

Blitz week and sector events

One of the ways to reach potential donors is leveraging the numerous sector-driven departmental events and activities, both during blitz weeks and beyond. Strategic promotion and well-executed events play a pivotal role in building momentum and raising awareness.

These sector-driven events create a buzz of excitement, engaging employees and encouraging them to be part of the campaign’s success.

By carefully selecting activities that align with the campaign’s objectives, we have been able to foster a sense of purpose and connection, motivating individuals to take action and support the cause. For example, the “ISEDCC: Pizza @ Lunch” event brings employees together to engage in conversation, listen to guest speaker testimonials and participate in fun activities, and it incentivizes them to give, with a slice of pizza offered upon their donation.

By offering fun incentives, we increase employee participation, further propelling the success of the campaign. Moreover, these types of events promote a positive work environment, teamwork and collegial interactions.
