For candidates who were invited to complete the at-home exam in May, the results have not yet been communicated as we are still in the process of scoring the exams. Estimated Timeline for Data Scientist Post-Secondary Recruitment Process
Note: The timeline is only an estimate and can be subject to change during the assessment process.
November 2022
- Candidates apply online between November 2 and 30, 2022.
- Information sessions are offered during the month of November 2022 (see above for dates and links to registration forms).
December 2022 to January 2023
- Pre-screening phase: answers to screening questions will be evaluated by human resources advisors and subject matter experts. Candidates must meet all essential Education and Experience qualifications.
March 2023
- Candidates who wish to be considered for bilingual positions will be required to undergo second language evaluation. More specifically, candidates will have to do the Unsupervised Test of Written Expression, the Unsupervised Test of Reading Comprehension, and the Oral Language Assessment. April to May 2023
- An at-home written exam will be sent by email to candidates whose profiles are matched with immediate hiring needs. The following four competencies will be assessed:
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing;
- Ability to work effectively with others;
- Analytical thinking;
- Ability to uphold privacy standards and code of ethics.
June 2023 (Tentative date)
- Candidates who passed the written exam will be invited to matching events with hiring managers. Hiring managers may conduct interviews during these matching events.
Accommodation Measures: For You to Perform at Your Best
If you require accommodation due to a disability or a personal situation at any step during the assessment process, please contact us. Accommodations can be provided for the testing environment, the test format, the response format of tests and scheduling/timing. Some examples of accommodation that can be provided: live reader, speech-to-text software, extra time, bigger font, etc. Note that all accommodation requests remain confidential.
