In 2019, the [https://www.canada.ca/en/government/system/laws/developing-improving-federal-regulations/modernizing-regulations/external-advisory-committee-regulatory-competitiveness.html External Advisory Committee on Regulatory Competitiveness] (EACRC) was launched to identify ways to encourage regulatory competitiveness and support modernization.
