This project will demonstrate the Government of Canada (GoC)'s commitment to greening and environmental sustainability, incorporating elements such as a high-efficiency building envelope, increased insulation, high efficiency heating, cooling and ventilation systems, and much more. The renewed PDP3 building is also being designed to meet the modern workplace standard for the GoC known as [https://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/biens-property/mt-wp/mt-wp-eng.html GCworkplace] which offers greater flexibility in where and how people work and suits the needs of a hybrid, post-pandemic workforce.
