The Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship Systems in Canada are governed by each province and territory. The Red Seal program sets national standards for 56 trades and allows for easy mobility for any tradesperson with a Red Seal-Endorsed Certificate of Qualification. Trade names many differ in different jurisdictions and each jurisdiction also may have additional designated trades apart from the Red Seal program.
