The Official Languages Discussion Circles is an initiative developed by the GC Students network to give students working in the Government of Canada opportunities to develop the skills in their second official language. Discussion circles will offer six moderated weekly sessions for students to network with colleagues across departments while practicing their language skills in a safe and informal setting.

The initiative will take place from July 3, 2023, to August 12, 2023.

The second edition will take place from September 2024 to Novembre 2024 under the [[Interdepartmental Language Interchange Program (ILIP)]].
