CAS is a great place to work! The organization plays a major role in Canada's democracy.

Le SATJ est un endroit où il fait bon travailler ! L'organisation joue un rôle majeur dans la démocratie canadienne.

The 4 federal Courts served by CAS are superior courts of record established by Parliament for the better administration of the laws of Canada. They have jurisdiction over a wide range of matters including immigration and refugee protection, intellectual property, application of income tax and other revenue-related laws, as well as matters pertaining to aboriginal claims, environmental assessment and national security. As independent bodies, the Courts play a vital role in Canada’s democratic process and form a big part of the 3rd branch of government, the judiciary.

Les quatre cours fédérales desservies par le SATJ sont des cours supérieures d'archives établies par le Parlement pour une meilleure administration des lois du Canada. Ils sont compétents dans un large éventail de domaines, notamment l'immigration et la protection des réfugiés, la propriété intellectuelle, l'application de l'impôt sur le revenu et d'autres lois fiscales, ainsi que les questions relatives aux revendications autochtones, à l'évaluation environnementale et à la sécurité nationale. En tant qu'organes indépendants, les tribunaux jouent un rôle essentiel dans le processus démocratique du Canada et constituent une partie importante de la troisième branche du gouvernement, le pouvoir judiciaire.

As the Chief Information Officer, I have the pleasure of being part of CAS' executive committee and report directly to the Deputy Head - the Chief Administrator.   

En tant que responsable de l'information, j'ai le plaisir de faire partie du comité exécutif du CAS et de rendre compte directement à l'administrateur général.   

In this role, I lead the Information and Technology Services Division (ITSD). ITSD is accountable for providing service, data and digital management solutions to support CAS' mandate.

À ce titre, je dirige la division des services d'information et de technologie (ITSD). La DSIT est chargée de fournir des services, des données et des solutions de gestion numérique pour soutenir le mandat du CAS.

Working in a small organization has lots of advantages. Things move fast and team members have an opportunity to contribute to many files and have a direct impact in supporting the Courts.

Travailler dans une petite organisation présente de nombreux avantages. Les choses évoluent rapidement et les membres de l'équipe ont la possibilité de contribuer à de nombreux dossiers et d'avoir un impact direct sur le soutien aux tribunaux.
