GCconnex is a professional networking and collaborative workspace for all public servants, allowing them to connect and share information, leveraging the power of networking towards a more effective and efficient public service.

Established in 2009, GCconnex features dynamic online communities where public servants can collaborate on projects, blog, chat via instant messaging, carry on discussions, ask and answer each other's questions about anything from learning to technology, such as WebEx. It acts as a professional platform to create your professional C.V., share ideas on The Wire, and connect you with people and information that you need. Also, GCconnex groups can be open to anyone interested in a particular subject area, or closed, where users can request to join and must be accepted by the group owners, to invitation-only, where only those invited to join will even be able to see that the group exists.
