We are THE reference for students! GC Students is a network for students under the Federal Youth Network (FYN). Our role is to provide you with Resources, Information and Answers (RIA).

Work Plan Template This work plan is a template to encourage students to structure their work contract. The purpose of the work plan is to identify tasks that will be assigned to you and to ensure that you have meaningful and sufficient tasks that will allow you to learn and contribute to the objectives of the organization. The work plan is also intended to allow you to express yourself openly and provide feedback to your manager. Students hold a very important place in the Government of Canada (GC) and we want your work experience to be as rewarding as possible. Managers play a critical role in our Department and much of our success depends on you. The goal of the Defence Team Manager’s Network (DTMN) (accessible only on the National Defence network) is to create a network of motivated, innovative and curious managers and to provide you with tools to become the leaders of tomorrow. Whether you are a new or experienced manager, the DTMN aims to strengthen the professional community for managers through optional virtual and face-to-face networking events and working groups, like the DTMN Coffee Chats.

À propos

Les gestionnaires jouent un rôle essentiel au sein de notre ministère; d’ailleurs, une grande partie de notre succès dépend d’eux. Le Réseau des gestionnaires de l’Équipe de la Défense (RGED) (accessible uniquement sur le réseau de la Défense nationale) a été créé dans le but de rassembler les gestionnaires motivés, innovateurs et curieux; ainsi que de leur fournir les outils qui leur permettront de devenir les dirigeants de demain. Peu importe que vous soyez un nouveau gestionnaire ou un gestionnaire d’expérience, le RGED vise à renforcer la communauté de pratique professionnelle des gestionnaires en misant sur la participation optionnelle, virtuelle ou en personne, à des groupes de travail et à des activités de réseautage, comme les cafés-causeries du RGED.
