Once again this year, the Council of the Network of Official Languages Champions is partnering with the Linguistic Duality Network, which is made up of Canadian Parents for French, French for the Future and the Canadian Foundation for Cross-Cultural Dialogue, to organize this event so that it can be celebrated beyond the public service throughout Canadian society.


The Council and the Canada School of Public Service are working with Canadian Heritage, the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and the Translation Bureau to organize a webcast event on the theme “Official Languages Day: A Spotlight on Official Languages and Linguistic Dynamics” which will focus of the modernization of the Official Languages Act and the evolving linguistic dynamics in the country, on September 8, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. (ET).
