An inventory is used to foster networking between a candidate who meets the inventory's eligibility criteria and hiring managers.

Once you are hired for a student job with the Government of Canada (GoC) for the first time, you can then network and share your resume with any team and any department. You will need to send them your last student contract and prove that you are still eligible for a student recruitment program. |

What is student bridging?Student Bridging - Canada.ca is an external non-advertised process. It is called student bridging because the rationale for using a non-advertised process (not visible on GC Jobs) is that the new graduate has recent GoC work experience as they have had a student or casual contract before.

Emplois GC en généralQu'est-ce qu'Emplois GC?Emplois GC est la plateforme du Gouvernement du Canada (GdC) qui permet de visualiser tous les processus d'emplois annoncés externes et internes (dans certains cas, voir section Emplois internes sur Emplois GC, plus bas) et qui permet aux candidats intéressés et admissibles d'appliquer pour obtenir l'emploi ou pour se qualifier dans un bassin (dans certains cas). Qu'est-ce qu'un processus annoncé interne et externe?Consultez la section "Processus de nomination" dans la section ⭐ Les bases pour débuter sa carrière au GdC, plus haut, pour en savoir plus.
Fonctionnement d'un bassinQu'est-ce qu'un bassin?Lorsque vous postulez sur un processus sur Emplois GC, vous passez à travers plusieurs évaluations (questions de présélection, entrevue, tests de langue seconde, etc.) pour vérifier que vous répondez à l'énoncé de critère de mérite. À la fin du processus, il se peut que 10 candidats soient qualifiés pour l'emploi, mais qu'un seul poste soit disponible. Ainsi, les candidats qualifiés qui n'ont pas été choisis ont un numéro de référence démontrant qu'ils se sont qualifiés pour, par exemple, un emploi AS-03.
Quoi faire si je fais partie d'un bassin?Si vous faites partie d'un bassin, débuté à faire du réseautage en mentionnant le bassin dans lequel vous êtes qualifié! Emplois internes sur Emplois GCEst-ce qu’un travailleur étudiant ou occasionnel est admissible aux emplois internes sur Emplois GC?Les travailleurs étudiants (PFETÉ, PAR ou COOP) et les travailleurs occasionnels ne sont pas admissibles aux emplois internes SAUF dans le cas où il est clairement inscrit dans la section « Qui est admissible », par exemple :
Durant mon contrat étudiant, comment puis-je consulter les emplois internes du GdC?Lorsque vous travaillez au Gouvernement du Canada, vous pouvez visualiser l’onglet d’emplois internes sur le site d’Emplois GC à l'aide d'un ordinateur connecté directement au réseau du gouvernement, peu importe si vous êtes connecté à votre compte ou non.
