What You Told Us – June Check-In Results

Each month, we ask managers across the public service to weigh in on what matters most. In June, we asked:

“Which leadership topics would be most valuable for your growth as a manager? (Select your top 3)”

Here’s what you shared among the 827 respondents:

📌 Top 5 Most Selected Topics

  1. Navigating senior-level expectations (340 responses)
  2. Understanding and leveraging AI tools (291)
  3. Strategic thinking (256)
  4. Communication and influence (243)
  5. Conflict resolution (219)

Other highly selected themes included coaching and feedback, change management, and delegation and decision-making. A few managers also shared additional topics such as interdepartmental collaboration and managing remote teams.

Your insights are helping shape upcoming programming, events, and conversations with our partners. Stay tuned as we explore these top themes in future initiatives, including the Managers Connect in-person events and the virtual series: “Top 3 Things Managers Should Know About…” national series.
