The Canada School of Public Service is running a series of pilots related to people exchange. The goal of people exchange is to get insights from the world, applied for public service. Specifically, the CSPS is encouraging more, easier, light-touch exchange of people inside and outside GC.
Since start up in February 2019, pilots underway include:
- The Paper Plane Exchange, which helps facilitate light-touch agreements for experiential learning. (Imagine going to another organization's workplace for a few days or weeks, instead of going to a conference or a classroom.)
- Welcome & Care / Digital DNA (to be renamed). Focuses on creating human-to-human welcome for civil servants and others engaged in exchange.
- Externship, for longer-term work exchanges.
