FYN In Person Learning Days

Description

The Federal Youth Network (FYN) is excited to announce the return of in-person learning events in 2025. These full-day events are crafted to empower students, new public servants, and aspiring public servants through dynamic workshops, interactive networking activities, and speed mentoring sessions. Attendees will develop essential skills in personal branding, effective communication, and work-life balance, all while forging meaningful connections with peers and mentors.

By the end of the learning day, participants will be able to:

1. Enhance their personal branding by creating a compelling professional image.
2. Develop effective communication skills for managing and resolving workplace conflicts.
3. Achieve better work-life balance with tips for managing workloads and preventing burnout.
4. Expand their professional network through networking and speed mentoring sessions.

Time: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Crafting Your Personal Brand Description: Learn how to craft a compelling bio, and optimize your LinkedIn profile. Explore strategies for building your personal brand beyond social media.
Mastering Difficult Conversations Description: This workshop will explore various strategies for effective communication. Participants will learn which skills to use in different situations and how to handle difficult conversations calmly and effectively.
Achieving Work-Life Balance Description: Learn how to manage heavy workloads without sacrificing personal life. Recognize signs of burnout and explore time management tips.
Speed Mentoring: Description: Participate in four 15-minute rounds of speed mentoring with experienced professionals.
