A collection of open georeferenced data sources (addresses, building footprints, road networks) found throughout Canada.
Provincial Data
Notes
Alberta
- The AMDSP data includes address, points of interest and road network data.
British Columbia
- PAV dataset is in a KML format (intended Google Earth use).
- The Public Buildings dataset includes only points.
Manitoba
- MLI - 1:20,000 Building Footprints were last updated March 2002 with no plans of being updated again.
New Brunswick
Newfoundland and Labrador
- The Newfoundland and Labrador Statistics Agency produced the Newfoundland and Labrador Road Distance Database to give approximate road distances and travel times between communities in the province.
Northwest Territories
Nova Scotia
- Buildings over 30m on one side are collected as polygons, others are collected as points.

Saskatchewan
- SURN appears to be a copy of the Saskatchewan NRN dataset.
Yukon
- Road network provided as an Esri REST.
