The International Equity Collective (IEC) is a grassroots community that fosters collaboration and knowledge-sharing to drive equity and inclusion within public sectors across the globe.
The International Equity Collective (IEC) is a grassroots community that fosters collaboration and knowledge-sharing to drive equity and inclusion within public sectors across the globe. This collective strives to make countries more fair for everyone.
The IEC extends internationally the efforts of the Anti-Racism Network ([[Anti-RacismAmbassadorsNetwork|ARAN]]), a grassroots group of public servants within the Government of Canada that works with an intersectional lens to dismantle systemic racism, and that connects public servants working across orders of government to share knowledge, spread information and take action.
The IEC recognizes the need for and actively fosters conversations between international networks of public servants actively involved in equity, diversity and inclusion issues.
The IEC invites public servants of every level, community organizers, and academics of various countries to collaborate, enhance discussions, and share research, data, and best practices to foster equity globally.
