What is GC Students? We are THE reference for students! GC Students is a network for students under the Federal Youth Network (FYN). The mission of the GC Students Network is to provide you with an enriching work experience in the Government of Canada. Our role is to provide you with Resources, Information and Answers (RIA). 2022 Welcoming Event for Students Every year, students contribute to the renewal of the Government of Canada. Their curiosity, innovative ideas and learned experiences are important assets to all federal departments and agencies. Hosted in collaboration with the Federal Youth Network (FYN), the 2022 Welcoming Event for Students features a full day of learning and networking activities for students working across the federal government. Take advantage of the learning and networking opportunities available throughout the day! Registration NEW! Work Plan Template This work plan is a template to encourage students to structure their work contract. The purpose of the work plan is to identify tasks that will be assigned to you and to ensure that you have meaningful and sufficient tasks that will allow you to learn and contribute to the objectives of the organization. The work plan is also intended to allow you to express yourself openly and provide feedback to your manager. Students hold a very important place in the Government of Canada (GC) and we want your work experience to be as rewarding as possible.
