Agenda
1. Updates
2. Roundtable
Notes and action items
TBS DTO
- Continuing to support vaccines and travel. The February top task results show that our efforts need to continue there.
HC PHAC
Travel
- “Mandatory quarantine and isolation” pages and “Contact us” page are tracking through approvals currently and should go live this week. There has been no update on the status of the hotels page.
- GAC is looking to remove the subway navigation from the Travel SIT pages. The subway navigation worked early on, but with all the new content, it doesn’t make sense anymore.
- They are removing it because:
- it doesn’t flow properly anymore
- to add all the required pages to the subway nav would make it far to long for it to work well on mobile
- the new checklists do a better job of capturing the sequence because there are several steps that you have to do at multiple intervals
Overall
As of Friday,
- Traffic remained stable with 3.7M visits to Canada.ca COVID pages
- Visits to the Travel Wizard continued to climb with 22% increase and 675k visits
- Calls to the COVID information line increased 3% to 10.3k
- Google search phrases were a mix of travel (27k clicks) and vaccines (18k clicks). The “work from home tax credit” also appeared for the first time, with 5.7K clicks through to the site
- COVID Vaccine portal spiked 268% to 32k visits, with the majority of traffic interested in AstraZeneca
Vaccines
- Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine was approved on Friday. Published the new product pages on Janssen COVID-19 vaccine. NACI guidelines will be coming out later this month.
- March 11 will the be a National Day of Observance for COVID-19
PCO
- No updates
PP
- No updates
Finance
- Minister Freeland announced today the taskforce for women and the economy ahead of the 2021 budget
- Financial group will be talking a small pause on weekly meetings as it isn’t busy on the COVID front for FIN right now
CRA/Taxes
- Getting a lot of feedback that people can’t find the application form for recovery benefits on the web pages. It’s in MyAccount. CRA is making some adjustments to address this.
- CEWS and Rent subsidy announcement last week - all web pages were updated to reflect these announcements
PS
- Launching Emergency preparedness advertising campaign today
- Updating human trafficking pages with more current language
ISC
- Big update to “drinking water on reserves” launching this Wednesday
TBS
- Phoenix claims info for PSAC members is now live
If you have the page feedback tool on your page and notice a lack of comments today, an issue has been reported. We are aware of the issue and Hamza (DTO) is working with Principal Publisher to fix this. Hopefully it will be back quickly.
Ordre du jour
