Chantale Beaupré, Project Manager, Public Services and Procurement Canada
Born deaf in one ear and with hearing loss in the other, Chantale Beaupré is no stranger to adversity, working harder to achieve the same goals as her peers without the resources needed to address her aural disability. Overcoming this barrier during a time where assisted technology was not an option created a different mindset: “I have spent my entire career working—without ever asking for help or support. Despite this, I have successfully worked as a Customer Service Manager in both the private and public sectors.”
Chantale is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of LLMC 2024: “I share my story to inspire everyone to embrace their differences and use them to create real change. I truly believe that by showing our uniqueness, we can gradually shift the culture toward greater inclusion.”
