===The Trust Series: Exploring Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference===
+
===Accessibility in procurement and digital services===
Foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI) is not simply “fake news” from abroad. It involves sophisticated, coordinated operations designed to undermine a country's national security. Whereas foreign espionage targets state secrets, FIMI weakens social cohesion and erodes the fabric of public trust.
+
In May 2026, Shared Services Canada (SSC) is offering managers the opportunity to learn more about accessibility in procurement and digital services by hosting a series of practical accessibility events that support integrating accessibility into procurement and digital services.

This informative event will convene representatives from government and civil society to examine why foreign threat actors engage in foreign information manipulation and interference, the tactics they deploy, and the many impacts on Canadian institutions and society.
+
* '''How to Consider and Integrate Accessibility in Procurement (May 5 – 6):''' Learn the roles of business owners and how to integrate accessibility into procurement, including Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
 +
* '''Practical Guidance to Procuring Accessible ICT (May 12 – 13):''' Understand the GC-recommended ICT accessibility standard and how to apply it in your purchases.

For managers and leaders, understanding these dynamics is increasingly important. Participants will learn how to better recognize the underlying patterns of foreign information manipulation and interference, how it can influence the information environment in which teams operate, and how it may affect decision-making and the work of public servants.
+
* '''Understanding Accessibility Conformance Reports and Roadmaps (May 26 – 27):''' Gain clarity on how to review and interpret these important accessibility tools.

===Think Tank Series on Transformation - How do we Navigate Current Disruptions===
+
===Leadership Series: Managing Stress Through Change (Rebroadcast)===
Leading transformation is no longer optional—especially in the current context of Workforce Adjustment and the Compensation Expenditure Review. The Think Tank Series on Transformation (TTsT) is a 90-minute interactive session designed for members of the National Managers’ Community, leaders, executives and employees to navigate disruption with empathy and purpose. Developed by certified practitioners from the [[Interdepartmental Organizational Change Network / Réseau interministériel du changement organisationnel|Interdepartmental Organizational Change Network (IOCN)]], the session connects theory to real workplace realities and focuses on how transitions are experienced by people.
+
Rapid technological change, evolving national challenges and high expectations for service delivery are placing sustained pressure on public service leaders and teams. This CSPS event presents Sonia Lupien, Research Scientist from the Centre for Studies on Human Stress (University of Montreal), who explores how stress affects the brain and body, and how those effects influence leadership, decision-making, communication, and overall performance during uncertain times.

Participants explore three core modules: individual transition and adaptation, team dynamics, and practical management for Leading Change. The session highlights what individuals and leaders can control, how to anticipate emotional reactions during uncertainty, and how small, practical actions can support meaningful transformation.

TTsT offers a safe and supportive space to reflect, exchange with peers, and strengthen resilience, communication and leadership capacity during periods of organizational disruption.
