Do you know someone or a team that is setting new digital standards? Nominate them in one of the 6 categories from the Digital Government Community Awards 2024! You have until Friday, March 8 to do so.
These awards recognize excellence in delivering results for Canadians through digital tools and practices, with a focus on high-impact initiatives, exceptional contributions, and best practices in implementing the Government of Canada’s Digital Ambition.

Milestones Achieved: IT Apprenticeship Program for Indigenous Peoples
The IT Apprenticeship Program for Indigenous Peoples is a Government of Canada initiative specifically aimed at addressing employment gaps for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples in the IT field.
All successful graduates are issued a digital certificate at the completion of the program that fulfills the alternative educational requirement of the IT minimum Qualification Standard and enables career mobility across the GC.
