The [[EDSC Innovation RH - HR Innovation ESDC|Human Resources Innovation Strategic Foresight Team]], in partnership with Policy Horizons Canada, are very excited to announce our Strategic Foresight Report: '''A Glimpse Ahead: Exploring the Future of the Public Workforce at ESDC'''.

 +
Over the last ten months, HRI and Horizons developed research and facilitated several workshops with staff from across the Employment and Social Development Canada to explore the future of work within the department. Specifically, we discussed forces disrupting some of the ways we work and what that could mean for the future of ESDC and the public service at large in the coming years.

Scan Club is a forum where we present and discuss weak signals discovered during an environment scan (articles, documentaries,etc.). A weak signal is an indicator of a potentially emerging disruption that may become significant in the future. During the session, the analyst first presents the weak signal. Then, ask for questions and considerations. Finally, we push the weak signals out to the future to flag the potential changes this signal could bring to the world if it became significant. Contact us at [mailto:EDSC.InnovationRH-HRInnovation.ESDC@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca EDSC.InnovationRH-HRInnovation.ESDC@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca] for more information.
