What is Activity-Based Working?
Activity-Based Working (ABW) is a design concept that recognizes that through the course of any day, employees engage in many different activities and that they need and can choose different types of work settings to accommodate these activities. It is combined with a non-assigned seating model.
Misconceptions: WHAT IS NOT ABW? It is not just an interior design concept There is a strong design component to ABW, as it usually requires new furniture and spatial changes, but the concept is primarily about organizational and cultural change. |
ABW empowers employees and teams to:
- Take control of their work environment
- Choose the best work setting to perform tasks
Based of the privacy, focus or collaboration level your task requires, you can choose between different individual workpoints
