We are currently looking for candidates to fill the following positions:
Multimedia Technician (GT-03)
The Canada School of Public Service’s Digital Academy is looking for a Multimedia Technician at a GT-03 level or of equivalent classification for a term, secondment, or deployment opportunity.
We are looking for a candidate with a post-secondary diploma in Multimedia Development or other degree in related fields with experience and knowledge in these areas:
- Experience illustrating, video editing and animation with Adobe Creative Cloud software
- Experience developing storylines and storyboards for video-based learning products
- Experience in developing multimedia content such as infographics, visuals for social media or e-learning courses
- Experience in designing products with collaboration, organization and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the standards on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0)
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
In addition to the requirements above, asset qualifications include experience in the following areas:
- D2L Brightspace LMS
- Wikimedia coding
- HTML & CSS coding
- E-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI)
- BBB proficiency or more in the other official language

About the Innovation Services Team
The Innovation Services team, within the Digital Academy, is a multidisciplinary team of UX specialists and developers. We work closely with learning specialists and product owners to help enable effective relationships with learners and deliver truly rewarding learning experiences. We lead the design and development of user-centric digital innovative solutions and support the CSPS and Digital Academy’s learning products and programs. We value curiosity, out of the box thinking, and learning by doing. Some of the innovation projects we are currently working on include vExpo (virtual expo and kiosks leveraging immersive technology), Busrides.ca (microlearning platform), learning paths, and more!
